Each of these songs provide a new challenge for you to master. You must have completed all nine recorder tests before you can begin your journey to become a sensi master (teacher). See your own music teacher to get a new packet of music containing all of the songs. The recordings were completed by 5th grade students who have 9th degree black belts. They wish to pass on their legacy to you. Be sure to see your teacher in class to take your degree test. Once you have reached this level, you should help other students achieve their goals through learnng and even doing some testing yourself! Study and practice hard, and you will achieve your goal.

Extending the Learning
- Evaluate the performance track of one of the degree black belt songs. Decide what was played properly, what could be improved upon, and if you notice any mistakes. Make your own recording to submit for performance review.
- Join up with your friends and play a performance of some of the degree black belt songs.
- Create a short instructional video for how to play one of the degree black belt songs on the recorder.
- Compose another song for recorders. Plan how you would teach the song and write a written lesson plan. Be sure to include practice hints.
- Research the history of one of the songs in this module. Share your findings with your student group.
- Write about what playing recorder means to you. Have you changed any through this musical journey?
- Ask your teacher for a recorder duet. Find another black belt to work on a song for a performance.
- Ask your teacher about playing the alto recorder. Get a fingering chart and learn to play another type of recorder!
